We lost the battle against Paw Patrol in our home a long time ago (ACAB includes paw patrol). Our toddler loves it. This morning, she was yapping about it, as she often does, and said, “they’re my precious little dogs!” 🥹

Our six year old son is listening to the Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me podcast (a new weekly tradition). And he asked to message @petersagal.bsky.social “Peter Sagal, you’re a really good host for this show and I really, really liked the Reflecting Pool episode and I like that you’re really funny.”

If you've got a weird little late night thought you'd like to chat about on The Nightly (the podcast I co-host), leave a voicemail at 904-644-4859, or email thenightly@hatch.co and set up a time to chat! We'd love to hear from you!

Lindsay Graham was not just one of politics’ greatest worms, he was one of AMERICA’s greatest worms. Now he is in worm heaven, playing with that that great worm rock n roll band. Goodbye forever, monumental worm, you believed in nothing and it all worked out!

Celebrating my dad’s 70th in Hawaii. It’s our last night. Dinner at a nice restaurant. One of my sisters looks at her phone, gasps, and says, “Lindsey Graham died!” We take a second to realize she’s saying Lindsey Graham, not Mitch McConnell. Server immediately swoops in with candle. Happy birthday!

We love when our fans become LITIGANTS 💪 Thank you @andriakbrown.bsky.social for being a long time supporter AND for bringing her petty dispute to our court - watch her episode here: youtu.be/3UzVuR9wEas

In 2016, when listening to NPR in the morning became impossible for ... reasons, I was guided toward my first podcast: @judgejohnhodgman.bsky.social. It took a few years, but I eventually burned through the entire back catalog and have listened to every episode since.

Spent the fourth on a small hill in a park in Los Angeles, overlooking and overlooked part of the city. A thousand tiny fireworks shows for families and friends spread over blocks and blocks. So much joy. Don’t let anyone else define what 250 years of America means to you.

Earlier today, Shane came home with the kids and told me our 6 year old has a new favorite podcast. I thought, “did he finally agree to listen to the show that I produce??” No. No he didn’t. He heard Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me on the radio and demanded to listen to more, in podcast form.
