I’m sure that most of you aren’t sending your college transcripts left and right, but it’s required for educators. Parchment, the company that handles those requests is a racket. There’s obvious need for government regulation to stop this predatory company.

Our six year old son is listening to the Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me podcast (a new weekly tradition). And he asked to message @petersagal.bsky.social “Peter Sagal, you’re a really good host for this show and I really, really liked the Reflecting Pool episode and I like that you’re really funny.”

I'll summarize this: Mamdani asked NYers to keep air conditioning at 78 degrees. A wave criticism hit online. A MSNBC broadcast pointed out the US Department of Energy recommends that 78 degree figure. Immediately after, the US Department of Energy deleted 6,000 web pages related to energy saving.

Spent the fourth on a small hill in a park in Los Angeles, overlooking and overlooked part of the city. A thousand tiny fireworks shows for families and friends spread over blocks and blocks. So much joy. Don’t let anyone else define what 250 years of America means to you.

Over the last five nights, I’ve watched Avatar Fire and Ash. I don’t like these movies. And I don’t enjoy watching them. The appeal of the first made sense: a 3D event. The sequel, sure, let’s go back to Pandora. The third… this just has to be somebody’s kink at this point.

There are at least *three* right-wing text-based social media sites, one owned by The Actual President, another by the richest man in history, and all of which openly foster white supremacy. But those are not the ones every op-ed page in the western world is sneering about
