Contemplating sad things. Have I outgrown jam donuts? I had a lovely one yesterday, and the jam was oozy and plentiful... and I think I'd have been happier with a shortbread biscuit (which I had today). Am I old? I'll know for sure when I prefer fruitcake (and that day is approaching fast).

Out for a bike ride and I stumbled across a small fossil bank near Canberra airport. First uncovered in 1844, these brachiopods date to the Silurian age and are around 430 million years old. At the time of discovery, they were believed to be the oldest known fossils 📷 mine
