Spent the day learning Typst and formatting my CV in it. This won't increase my odds of getting a job at all, but at least my CV is now in Typst.

I've seen plenty of memes about shooting printers so the personhood threshold lies around there in the spectrum. Jokes aside, this is a pretty good point.

Something anecdotal I have to add to this is that I've observed that over here, exposure to English-speaking social media is correlated with anti-AI sentiment.

I am not sure who should be regulating AI but clearly it should be something which transcends individual nations

I am actually pissed off that I might never be able to try out fable/mythos. I really hope open weight models catch up (though it wouldn't surprise me if China pulls off some similar restrictions)
My favorite genre of people on the street is the grumpiest guy you've ever seen carrying a small dog like a baby.
It's election day in my country right now, so this is the only time where I come to bluesky to /escape/ from politics.
