I honestly think we should look at it as an opportunity to do stimulus. That's a lot of good-paying manufacturing jobs spread out all over the country that we can create.

There are two groups of voters I listen to, black grandmas (particularly in the south) and soccer moms from northern Virginia who used to kill people for the CIA.
My observation, especially in the last year, is that the real insidious thing isn’t even the rise of outrageously obvious antisemitism. It’s the complete refusal by many on the left to call it out or do anything about it. After over a decade of calling out every kind of niche reactionaryism.

Teton county (where Jackson, WY is) just had a couple cases of measles, and surprise, they're now out of measles vaccine (or were, they may have sorted out the shortage) because SURPRISE, people who have "strenuous objections to vaccines" suddenly forget them when the alternative is "get measles"
