The Tories didn't even try to compete with Reform or Restore. An emerging feature of multi-party politics is that it seems parties are increasingly making all-or-nothing decisions about deploying resources.
Here's the spending share for the final week before the Mayoral by-election. Feels like a big miss from the Greens to spend so much for just 12% (and elimination) in the first round. They're usually more conservative in deploying resources when they're not going to win.

Was ALWAYS clear that Polanski lacked the temperament to be a serious political leader and that his social media use was unhealthy at best. The Golders Green tweet was diabolical, the harassing people that express a negative opinion pathetic, but today's incident should be immediately disqualifying.
Electoral commission needs to stamp down on the behaviour because they're getting worse. Canvassing returns presented as polling data for a council ward is one thing, doing it for a metro region of 2 million people is fucking disgusting.
