The "Party of Reagan" has the United States siding with Russian aggression against NATO allies and a brutal war on a European democratic US partner. Yes, the whole party. If they didn't, they would impeach and remove the president who is blatantly breaking US law to help fund Russia's war effort.

Let me see if I understand this . . . 1. The U.S. is at war with Iran. 2. Russia is helping Iran in that war. 3. The U.S. is now giving Russia money that it can use to help Iran destroy U.S. bases and kill U.S. troops. Donald is smart & patriotic like that.

The first Russian diesel cargo heading for the US left St Petersburg on September 22, two weeks *before* Trump announced the deal with Putin, Windward reports. The Greek-flagged tanker Minerva Zen carrying 275,000 barrels of diesel/gasoil is due at the US East Coast around 11–12 October.

Here's a nearly 10-minute supercut of Troy Jackson taking it to Susan Collins during their debate tonight, including Jackson telling her "you can't eat road salt" and "Collins is like an arsonist who helped set the fire, and then she wants credit for bringing a cup of water to put it out"

Trump shouts out Russ Vought and then says, ominously, "we have some big surprises coming up in a few weeks, right Russ? He's gonna be one of the important people in the history of our country."

Trump ended enhanced assistance toward Medicare Part D plans and his CMS introduced new burdensome prior authorization to traditional Medicare through WISeR. Arsonists don’t deserve credit for putting out part of the fire they started.

President Trump said he will give around 20 million senior citizens $90 each to help pay for their Medicare Part B premiums, marking his latest effort to dole out funds to certain Americans weeks before the midterm elections. https://cnn.it/4ytSUHZ

Seriously, unless you're going to call me a "scientist" for helping my son with his class volcano project and call me a "physician" because I applied a band-aid successfully, please please PLEASE stop calling any random crank who shits out a book about the past a "historian"

Please, for the love of God, can the media stop calling random cranks who write fan fiction about their personal heroes in the past "historians."

Just helping with editing here. These bots aren’t sentient. They’re doing what they’re programmed to do. OpenAI, a private company supposedly bound by laws, committed federal crimes.

As a disability advocate I’m heartbroken by this. Please for the love of everything you hold dear, vote blue in November. Republican policies, their shenanigans and their hand picked court jesters are harming the most vulnerable amongst us. Check your registration! Register! Get out the VOTE!

BREAKING WaPo: Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson just slammed the Supreme Court's use of its "emergency docket" — suggesting the court has misused the process in allowing the Trump admin to move forward with a host of controversial policies while challenges play out in lower court.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson criticizes Supreme Court’s use of emergency docket

In a public appearance, Jackson said the high court’s use of the emergency docket was “problematic” and called for more restraint from her colleagues when using it.

Lifesaving scientific research should not be dictated by the party occupying the White House. Congress has already blocked Trump’s proposal to cut biomedical research spending once and we must stand united against this new illegal attack on NIH research funding. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/20/s...

White House Moves to Take Control of N.I.H. Grants (Gift Article)

Federal officials are drafting an executive order that would place grants under review by an outside panel, the latest effort to redirect billions of dollars in research spending.

Your regular reminder: If the Russians stop fighting, the war ends. If the Ukrainians stop fighting, their land will be occupied, their leaders will be killed, their history and language will be erased, their children will be kidnapped to serve Russia.

There is a clear cycle of corruption between the Trump administration and the companies that run his for-profit detention centers.   Delaney Hall must be shut down for good.

In my latest @msnowreports.bsky.social article, I discuss the ways that the not-so-beautiful bill will reshape the broader financialization of health in ways that have not generated sufficient attention — whether private equity, consolidation, or ending key health services www.ms.now/opinion/trum...

Opinion | The bill for Trump’s Medicaid cuts is coming due — for everyone

Though much attention has centered on the closure of rural hospitals, quieter transformations could reshape healthcare for publicly and privately insured patients alike.
