Trying to take the bus home. Fingers crossed this works better than last time. The bus website and the map website say two different things but I'm trusting the bus site. 🤞

So I got back to the motel and went to log onto the internet like I always do and it won't let me on because it says I have too many devices connected. The free internet only allows one and I'm like. . .okay. So I make sure my phone is disconnected and it still says I've reached my limit.

Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?

Three kittens in a cage. Two are orange and one is black.

Unrelated but could The Band Camino stop touring with bands I don't want to see in cities I can't get to?? They're performing in a festival for The Maine in January in Arizona. Guys, plz. (The Summer Set and TAI are going to be there as well.)

Q: What do you get the man who has everything? A: A happy afterlife! Q: How do you do that? A: Eels. Obviously. In about 1500 Ralph de Baliol agreed to pay 2000 eels per year to get the monks at Castle Acre Priory, near King's Lynn, to pray for the soul of his lord, Earl Warren. 🗃️🧪

Medieval colored drawing showing a man wearing a crown praying to heaven. Above him, in the clouds, is a figure with a halo looking back down at him. The man had a long white beard that is well-kept; if we can only hope that he keeps his kingdom as well as he keeps his beard. His hair is long and flowing, and he is wearing white robes. His hands are clasped in front of him, and his gaze is to the skies. Behind him are mountains, and he seems to be in the wilderness.

The figure in the clouds is probably a saint, and is drawn somewhat more hazily. This suggests that it is St. Bernadino, the patron saint of marketing. The saint has long gray hair and he looks less put together than the king. He's raising a finger as if to say, "Hold on there, hoss. What have you done for me lately?"

The answer, of course, needs to be eels. Surely nothing else will do.

Meme text reads:
"Your account balance is low
Please deposit more eels
To speak with the
Almighty"

The bus driver skipped over my stop and took me to the other side of town. I panicked for like 30 seconds then hopped on a bus going back the other way and still made it to work twenty minutes early.
