A major defeat for conservatives in Kansas, who were hoping to make inroads on the state supreme court by switching the state to regular elections. Their measure was defeated 61/39. (I'll have more to say on what this means for the court going forward soon.)
No matter the margin the story is that Haley Stevens got $70M of support, more than $30M of it from a single organization, and still lost.

As an independent observer it seems that the GOP/Fox machine is going to label any Democrat a “Communist” regardless of their policies so you may as well vote for the one you agree with and hope for the best
Dem voters, as far as I can tell, have two priorities: 1. Win the election 2. Fight the Trump admin as hard as possible in cases where they are worried that the two conflict, they lean towards “win” via whatever bizarre view of electability has penetrated their personal information bubble
I have no idea if this is what's going on or not but the results tonight are all consistent with my broad belief that Democratic primary voters are scared to death of losing again and as much as they like left/progressive ideas they are fucking terrified of losing again

"Go to an old cemetery. See all the baby graves from before the 1950s & 60s? After that, hardly any. That's when people started vaccinating their children against deadly childhood diseases. If you're unsure what to do to protect your kids, the answer is literally written in stone." ~ Michael Okuda

Xenon II Megablast was pure Bitmap Brothers style: metallic graphics, smooth scrolling, huge sprites, and such a soundtrack by Bomb the Bass that made every level feel like an arcade spectacle. Released in 1989, it became one of the defining shoot'em-up on the Amiga and Atari ST.
