After almost 13 glorious years, The Galleries in Bristol have taken down the Harry Hill Movie poster in the ladies toilet. A sad day for the easily amused woman queuing for a wee.

A clip framed poster on the side of a metal bin. The poster is for the Harry Hill Movie which came out in December 2013.The same bin with no posters in the clip frame

Aww, not the beautiful Tim Curry leaving us. That one cuts deep. Blue Money was the first thing I saw him in when I was small and we watched the video to fuzziness. Then I found Rocky Horror, Clue and The Worst Witch. He was never less than delightful in anything he was in.

Last day at the Fringe - one absolute and surprising stinker.* Then 3 excellent shows - YUCK Circus, Kemah Bob, and Sophie Duker. Have had a very strong year and it's been delightful. *name can be supplied on request

Fuck's sake - Jason Arday hounded to death by the press is sickening. Don't give a shit about what he did or didn't do, he did not deserve the ridiculous pressure the press put him under. Poor, poor man.

Here is a comparison of how Red Dwarf, “Holoship” was first introduced back in 1992 on BBC Two network, and how network, Wales and NI introduced it last night. Forgive my poor editing done at 2am.

So tonight, not only did BBC Two introduce the Red Dwarf episode "Holoship" using the same symbol used in 1992, but it also used most of the original continuity script. Your 1992 network announcer: Halyna Kozak www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jV6... Your 2026 network announcer: Nicola Phoenix

proust (eating madeline): will i ultimately reach the clear surface of my consciousness, this memory, this old, dead moment which the magnetism of an identical moment has travelled so far to importune me (dipping madeline in ketchup and shoving in a third one): fuck em up marcel

Love's Labours Lost at The Globe today as a groundling. Lots of flamenco dancing in the production which was wasted on me as I am a philstine and am left cold by watching people dance. Cast were brilliant - the fault lies with me.

A view of the empty stage at The Globe from the yard on the right. The pillars that hold up the canopy are dressed in blue and yellow fabric.
