It’s very bleak and horrific how they digitally mapped out a fruit fly’s entire brain - basically creating the first real artificial intelligence - and people on the internet’s first instinct was to torture it.

A trans man in the UK has been banned in the workplace restrooms after he was forced to use the women's restrooms to comply with the new EHRC guidance. The women complained because he is visibly male and so they told him he can't use any bathroom.

He's now facing an impossible situation at work with his employer telling him that due to recent legislation he must use the toilet of his birth gender. BUT several female colleagues have raised a grievance about him using their gendered toilet. His employer has told him that he cannot use the toilet while he is at work until they sort it out and cannot give him a timeframe to do so. They do [cut off] have disabled separate toilets. In the mean time one of his female colleagues has accused him of sexual harassment because he was used their gendered toilet. His menstrual cycle meant he needed to use the toilet. He's been with the employer for just over 5 years but only in this location for 18 months. The location is mainly male with just a handful of females, and his workshop only has male toilets. An AI flyer is a brown M&M test. If your event or business is cutting corners by using an AI flyer, where else are you cutting corners? What else are you cheating out on? Why should I be bothered to go somewhere you couldn't be bothered to promote with a little of your own personality?

The balaclava blackshirted thugs are a result of a decade of politicians, tabloids and the broadcast media telling racists they have "legitimate concerns." The normalisation of actual fascism rhetoric and action has led to this and is a far greater "legitimate concern" than any migrant on a boat.

I still haven't gotten over the way fascism creates a moral inversion across broad swaths of public life where what was evil 5 years ago is now at least potentially good while what was agreed on as good is all but assumed to be evil.

This drives me INSANE btw. You need to stop acting like showrunners have ruined your life rather than just made their interpretation of a show, within the budgets and constraints of the BBC/kinda Disney+ for a wee bit. For it is a TV show, it shouldn't matter to you THIS much.

Like realistically the last two eras have been litigated to DEATH. There is little in the way of new takes about what went right and wrong. The fandom is a dead horse beating itself over and over while the show can't do much to stop it in the near term. It is quite literally self care to stop
