I walk and bike a lot. Product manager at the MBTA.

Hey chicago bicyclists! I have a friend who is moving to albany park neighborhood of chicago, near the end of the brown line and wants to start biking for daily errands, haven't biked in a while. What advice would you give? They want to stay anonymous at this time.

My husband is tired of being read into the discourse of the day. Me, I like Choosin' Texas, and it makes me want to go two-stepping. I don't think I've heard it end to end before, but definitely heard bits in public spaces.

Speaking of reading my husband in, "Free 99" was so commonly said when I was a kid. Regional? Generational? I said that to my husband about something and he thought it was hilarious and used it with his childhood friend, who also had never heard it.

Decided to read my Gen-x, admirably non-ambitious, not chronically online, husband into the discourse du jour and he thinks the iced coffee at the interview is a bad look but not a deal-breaker. He did lol though. "I'd smack [disposable water bottle crinkler] out of the interview" though.

“When it comes to the choices my husband and I have made about public education, these days I feel that I failed both my values and my child.” A deeply personal piece from Nikole Hannah-Jones, 10 years after her landmark story about choosing her child’s elementary school, is your Sunday must-read
