I just think that risking your life at a moment's notice to save people you've never met in exchange for no money is a better expression of patriotism than dressing up like a Poundshop paramilitary and intimidating families with kids trying to get onto a ferry.

#MildlyUsefulInfo If you want 2 columns but want text in them to be independent (where pressing Enter in left column doesn't push stuff down on right column) use a 1-row 2-col table instead. Bunting on the Gov.UK website for Bank Holidays. I think this whimsy will always make me smile. The bunting varies with the season (tinsel at Christmas). It's driven by an API which has a false / true condition for whether bunting should be there (e.g. not on Good Friday). www.gov.uk/bank-holidays

Very British red white and blue triangular flags placed at the top of the UK Government's website on the page about when UK bank holidays are. Today is a bank holiday and so there is bunting. Some bank holidays, like Good Friday, don't have bunting as it's supposed to be a more sombre day so might be deemed less appropriate. But I thik it comes roaring back on Easter Monday, to celebrate all the chocolate.

Now that Twitter / X search appears to have given up the ghost the only ways I can think of to search your own tweets are to (1) search your own archive that you had the presence of mind to already download (2) ask Grok which will find anything easily and quickly Don't think Google can help either.

Ooh that's a definite listen, ta. This is how I first encountered Resonance FM (I think people answered me but have since deleted their accounts / went to a different social media etc etc).

A 5th May 2010 tweet from me saying "Are there any really weird radio stations ~104MHz FM? Found some strangeness on my radio this a.m. Not sure if detuned sounds, or music."

Alas not even called for interview so they must have been a bit stricter on the degree requirements (or my application was otherwise rubbish). Amused yet mildly irked (could do this with eyes closed*). Ah well. *perhaps failed to transmit that in my applic though, am quite out of practice.
