It was absolutely incredible to see two masters of their craft at work with a large group and in the proper setting. Expect more pictures soon - this was pure magic! ✨ Thanks to @jmstar.bsky.social and @lizziestark.bsky.social for being wonderful human beings and inspiring creators.

@lizziestark.bsky.social and I ran Nina Runa Essendrop and Simon Steen Hansen's larp Hvid Død for 30 students at Wesleyan tonight and it went great. What a beautiful game. They made such a mess in the brand new black box theater. Thanks to @czamboni.bsky.social for bringing us!

Happy labor day! Freelancers are forbidden from collective bargaining in the US, and so companies have suppressed labor power and maximized profits by assigning work that would be done by staff to freelancers. This is part of why there are so few actual staff jobs in the TTRPG world in the USA!

Wow. What a thread. The only time I thought about 4 dimensional beings in Ross in RPGs was when I saw them as antagonists in a Mage: the Ascension book. I thought they were too complicated to include. But this is crazy and weird and fun! Very wow!

Brainstorming for 4-dimensional dungeons. Just playing with physical components really helps me think through the possibilities. What if I cut or folded the base paper? What if I add multiple floors (other sheets) and connected them at weird angles.... 🧵

A simple paper dungeon map with rooms cut out and folded so they connect to each other in strange ways.

open for editing gigs to fund my travel and badge costs to Dragonmeet 2026. need a line/copy editor with almost six years experience on games and modules? i'm yer man (probably). a speciality in zine games and original systems, but i'll edit anything*. hit me up in replies or by DM!

To be clear: If “TTRPGs” in your scholarship, teaching, & outreach start & end with D&D — or even GMed games — that’s a skill issue you need to reconsider. You’re gonna get left behind.
