Dr. in the Bronze Age maternity ward: “Congratulations! It’s twin girls!” “Oh shoot, we only had one name picked out. Let’s go with Clytemnestra and uh- Helen! Yeah, that’ll do. Clytemnestra and Helen.”

I worked really hard on this and it just sucks to see people I like and respect on here shitting on it. Everyone talks a big game about supporting artists but then they all pile on just to score a few points on the internet. Try creating your own stuff instead of making fun of someone else’s.

In the concept art this arch was supposed to be a perfect miniature of Trump's planned 250 ft (76m) tall arch. The rushed and limited planning time led to this Home Depot scrap plywood wrapped in vinyl debacle.

Contrasting photos of the Freedom 250 concept art the Trump's state fair, with a fully detailed miniature triumphal arch, and and actual photo of the event with a crude plywood wrapped in vinyl sheeting arch.

Mamdani announces $15M for trans healthcare, includes launching a call/text resource support line. Notes city Law Dept filed an amicus brief against subpoenas for medical records. Hospitals suspended care to trans youth following a Trump EO. This seems to try working around that, doesn’t mention it

NEW YORK - Today, Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani announced three major new initiatives to safeguard and expand access to gender-affirming care for youth and adults across New York City. The initiatives represent a proactive $15 million investment at a time of growing uncertainty and escalating attacks from the federal government.
To safeguard access to gender-affirming care, Mayor Mamdani's administration will:
• Establish a direct care access fund for providers of youth gender-affirming care to help ensure that New Yorkers can continue to access medically necessary care.
• Launch a call and text line connecting New Yorkers with care, services, information, resources and support related to gender-affirming care.
• Fund research to identify gaps in health care access and outcomes for transgender and gender non-conforming New Yorkers. As the federal government retreats from supporting this critical research, New York City will invest in better understanding and meeting the needs of LGBTQ+ community.
Earlier this month, the City's Law Department submitted an amicus brief supporting a legal challenge brought on behalf of transgender youth and young adults opposing federal grand jury subpoenas seeking the medical records of patients who have received gender-affirming care. On Wednesday, a federal judge granted the injunction, blocking the U.S. Department of Justice from using subpoenas to access sensitive medical records of transgender patients.
Mayor Mamdani has directed the Law Department to be ready to respond, including potentially litigate, threats to end gender-affirming care for youth and adults from the federal government.

Short work week due to Monday holiday: Stressful Frantic “What day is it?” Short work week due to Friday holiday: Chill Relaxing “This rules” “Thursday is my Friday”

Three hours of attempts and multiple times waiting in line and Odyssey tickets still elude me. What’s the point of a virtual queue if you can’t actually book tickets when you’re at the front? Good thing AMC isn’t on here because I’d send their social media person home in tears right now.

Genuinely cannot remember the last time I boarded a plane and the seat had a functioning headrest or didn’t haphazardly partially recline as soon as I sat down.

Apple needs a feature where Face ID can determine how irritable/pissed off a person is based on their face and then lock specified apps if you’re too mad. I’m requesting this personally.
