So happy about how absolutely fantastic John Leguizamo is in The Odyssey. Steals the damn film, what a performance. I’d heard about Samantha Morton too, and I mean she’s always brilliant but she’s really brilliant in The Odyssey.
Started watching Star City and so far, so very good. Impeccable cast (Anna Maxwell Martin! Adam Nagaitis! Alice Englert! David Dencik! Niamh Algar!), perfect tone, amazing set design, and British and Irish actors using regional accents. Career-best Rhys Ifans entering his Jared Harris era..
Rewatching The X-Files. Can't believe that I was watching this as a 9 year old. Not because of the monsters, but because I just don't think that a child should know of the bureaucratic frustrations that occur whenever multiple government departments have to work alongside one another.

In the thick of the week of titrating onto a different epilepsy medication where I’m on the highest doses (for me) of both meds and let me tell you, it is a wacky whirlwind of being extremely spaced all of the time and unpredictable bursts of powerful nausea that last about 90 seconds.
Finally saw Bull. Further proof if needed that Neil Maskell is one of our best actors.

I won an award at Sundance years ago and Sam Neill, whom I did not know, tweeted to me “we’re all so proud of you, sweetheart”. I can’t even express what that meant to me. That our most beloved national treasure, a man I worshipped, would take the time to write to me!
