Hey, law prof friends! I'm on the committee planning the pretenure faculty workshop for #AALS2027. We're thinking of speakers to address, of course, scholarship, teaching, and service. Interested in speaking? Got suggestions? DM me!

📢 Abstract submissions are now open for the APHA 2026 Annual Meeting & Expo in San Antonio, TX (Nov 1–4)! As Program Co-Chair of the Disability Section, I'd love to see your work represented. Deadline: March 31. 🧵

I’m excited to share this new project with the world, my first foray into disability law. Thanks to @robynmpowell.bsky.social for her insight and support on this project. It will be on SSRN soon, but in the meantime DM me if you would like to read!

Congratulations to @uofoklahomalaw.bsky.social Professor @jonleelawprof.bsky.social, whose article "Disability and the Legal Profession: A Critical Inquiry," has been accepted for publication by the Case Western Reserve Law Review!

I did have someone reach out to me on here asking why in this upcoming article I would focus on sexual misconduct in legal academia rather than "everything on fire." This is why. It's a fire in our own house. And it keeps young women scholars, especially, from being able to do their critical work.

This exactly why I tell people to fight misogyny and child abuse if they want to fight authoritarianism. Those are pillars of fascism that so many people think are “normal” parts of a “democratic” society. News flash: they have no place in a democratic society.

Law Profs: I want to give a shout out to the Wash. & Lee Law Review editors. I just received final edits on my forthcoming piece, Sanctioning Lawyer-Criminals (coming soon!). At this stage in my career, I prioritize the quality of the pub experience when selecting journals--and they are excellent!

Excited to announce that my book, REVOLUTION IN REDLINE, is finally out! I compile key docs leading to the Founding, then present the Founding Docs in "redline," visually tracking the drafters' edits to show how the text evolved. (The Founders didn't start from scratch, and they disagreed often.)1/6
