The reporting by NBC News on our depletion of weapons and by the Times on the selection of a CNO is more evidence that Hegseth—with his firing of competent general officers, politicized promotions, and a culture where truth-telling is punished—has done real damage to our military.

I do find it amazing that even in this moment, the Dems can't come up with some sort of "Contract for America" like language that offers an alternative to Trump. Maybe they have it, but whatever governing vision they have is lost in the noise.

Things will get worse as more students secretly use AI to do homework. There has always been a divide between those who care about education for its own sake and those who only care about grades, but AI will worsen this divide, leaving fewer people with the ability to do causal reasoning.

Actually read through the documents Trump released last night and they show basically the opposite of what he claimed. It shows that Russia aggressively sought to interfere on behalf of Trump in 2020. China explored it but thought the backlash would be too much and stayed out.
