I think that the audio of the 16bit consoles is really an interesting area to examine. The Mega Drive/Genesis and SNES had such totally different sounds. One FM based, one sample based. Yet each was capable of producing masterpieces of in game audio. People will say that the MD audio was weak, /1

There's a bit in Earth Must Die where you have to convince a ship full of humans to vote to run the ship they're travelling on into the sun. You do it through xenophobia, folksy posturing and a catchy slogan and I feel like that might be the best political satire I've seen in ages
