Its a good thing China has absluetly no intention of ever invading Tiawan. Otherwise all those troop and landing ships would be a slight bit concerning.
It seems really clear that by 2028, we're going to have an empty SPR, substantial munitions shortages, greater strategic challenges, a larger national debt and substantially higher bond rates which will massively constrain future administrations.

Could another global power or set of powers step in here to do something? Sure. Will they? Pretty obviously no. Do you see a constituency in the EU to build a large navy to defend global shipping? I don't. And the PRC *really* does not give a s*** if other people live or die.
