I don't normally post stuff like this on my social media, but I'm Desperate and am in need of help. Hi there, my name is Katra (25, She / Her) and I'm getting kicked out of my parents' house at the start of next month and desperately need a place to move to (Preferably in the Chicago area). 1/3

Yes! I’m so in favor of regionalisms just generally: grocery chains, dairy suppliers, architectural styles, accents … the great homogenization of everything is so damn boring! I love it when details of a place are unique and communicate “you are HERE” as opposed to “you could be anywhere 🤷🏻‍♀️”

You know what I think could help revitalize shopping malls? To regionalize them. When people travel, one of the first things they like to do is visit the malls. But there's nothing more boring than going to a brand new exciting city & seeing the same stores, food & offerings that you're used to

Playstation ending physical games will be permission structure for other platforms to do the same. It will only lead to less in what you can own, companies controling it forever after purchase, further destroy more retail and job infrastructure, everything will get worse. I'm so mad I could scream ☹️

I implore you. Like things. I don't mean to hit an engagement button on social media sites. I mean enjoy stuff. Don't be beige. Cringe is a manifestation of internal fear and other's condiditoning shame for no reason. It's bs. Be weird.

I know this is not the biggest concern going these days, but it stresses me out that basically every artist/writer/critic is now expected to create their own tiny empire instead of getting paid by any existing entity to perform a job they've worked to get good at!!!!

Cleared round 2, Authenticity in commercials! This one means a lot more to me than I expected to. Commercial is not my forte and authenticity is one of my least trained skills. I dug up the one time I took a commercial class from 3 years ago to brush up,

Dear god I am so fed up with Instagram and Meta platforms. All I did was add ”on hiatus” to my profile and that got me flagged for suspension. At least this time I was able to get it back,

Laugh Track v1.5 released. This fixes a few typos and adjusts the end credits to add the name of our next game~ This will likely be the last update unless a bug pops up. We're full steam ahead on our next project! But please share Laugh Track with friends, it's free and fun and we're proud of it.

Men are using Meta AI glasses to secretly film women at beaches, shops, on the street & on nights out. They then post these clips online where they receive a barrage of misogynistic abuse. I’m campaigning to make this behaviour an offence. Women deserve to feel safe in public spaces.

Smart glasses are 'an invasion of privacy' - Meta's are selling better than ever

The biggest tech firms are set to sell millions of smart glasses despite growing privacy concerns.

One of the most important moments I had early in my career is when I asked an actor(ess) I respected about how important social media was, & they replied: “Who f***ing cares? You know why the colleagues I know aren’t posting on socials? Because they’re busy WORKING. Acting will always matter most.”

I still think it’s weird that some small projects want you to post your VO auditions openly on social media. Like… yeah, I don’t wanna do that. Just feels like you want folks to make a bunch of free social media posts with your hashtag as a marketing push.
