The psych job market isn’t dead! Join us at UIC!!! We are looking for a clinical psychologist (assistant or associate level)!! Chicago is simply the best, and the department is incredibly lovely! I’m not on search committee, but as the “newest” hire, I’m happy to talk about my experience thus far!

🧵Yesterday, I received notice that my #NIH grant, on the social environment, lifecourse, epigenetics & #birthoutcomes in Black families, was terminated. This grant represented a critical effort to address the ⬆️ rates of maternal & infant mortality in the US, particularly among Black mothers & babies

This is huge. I'm not being hyperbolic. The impacts this will have on universities, medical centers, research institutions, and, overall, the US scientific enterprise that makes the US a science leader worldwide are tremendous.
