In Massachusetts, we have a responsibility to protect the vulnerable and stand up for those who need it. We don’t throw trans kids under the bus for political points. We protect them—and all of our neighbors—because trans rights are human rights.

As someone who has been covering transgender rights for years, let me be clear about something: When you see capitulation over sports, know that it NEVER stops at sports. And in fact, Turek illustrated this just yesterday when he embraced a federal ban on funding for all trans care.

lol wouldn’t it be weird if democrats realized that people actually just don’t like people with no values and mealy-mouthed middle of the road lesser evil politics like who would imagine that voters choose authenticity even when it’s authentically evil. if only they could find a value to defend.

Beyond sick of Democrats excusing or just openly spouting anti-trans bigotry. It's getting really bad as campaign season escalates. You ain't the damn resistance if you're collaborating with major parts of fascism. There's other words for that.

The most absolutely massive flex from the state fair exhibit. This quilt is made of 40 years of prize ribbons from various categories at the New Mexico State Fair won by Carol St. Clair Johnson. She also won a prize for this quilt.

Me, preparing to be a parent: I'm not gonna just let every room be taken over by kid stuff, no way Me, with an almost 5yo: There is a toy car or lego on every single solitary surface of our household 🫨🫨🫨

Today, we were on a nearby bike trail and decided to stop for an impromptu dinner at the clubhouse of the town's golf course, right off the trail. Mind you, I hate golf, and the golfers were predictably douchy and cold, but our server was so kind, and our little fam had a blast regardless.
