Max Miller broke his own daughter’s collarbone and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, proud devout Christian, has no problem with that whatsoever. When this is who Republicans are I really don’t care what sort of criticism anyone in the media has to offer about Democrats’ electability.

The entire Republican Party, and a chunk of the Democratic Party, have a direct interest in convincing you that conservative wins are a mandate and anything else is not.
Max Miller and Bernie Moreno are both trash and they deserve whatever mess befalls them.
Max Miller's ex-wife deserves the same support that all DV victims deserve. Hopefully this truly awful situation can also bring attention to how the policies she's supported (including abortion bans/opposing no-fault divorce) can be life-threatening for women in similar situations:

I think Sen. Moreno is still gonna keep quiet because defending his daughter and granddaughter from abuse is much much less important than keeping up the lie that he’s not gay.
We’re back to pretending to believe a deal is imminent again. Isn’t it getting boring for the media?
A self-respecting Congress would impeach him over this immediately. Doing an end-run around the Senate's Constitutional "advise and consent" authority to illegally take money from taxpayers, and give it to himself and criminals he likes. Alone, one of the most impeachable offenses in US history.

This is why the number one thing liberal con law people should be working on is arguments that Trump’s pardons are not valid. Obviously none of this can happen without court packing but once the new liberal court is in place, there need to be arguments ready to hand them.

Liberal American normies are out for blood, but *everyone* is in an anti-system mood. If we don't feed that beast some sacrifices, it'll find someone who can, and those sacrifices will be innocent.

Guys, the best weapons to protect your neighbors from ICE are NOT GUNS They are CAMERAS, WHISTLES, and a well-organized RAPID RESPONSE AND NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH SYSTEM. ICE is better-armed than you'll ever be. But they like to rely on secrecy, and you can make it much harder for them to be secret.
The Odyssey is great. Awesome movie. Love the morality play part of it. Enjoyed it start to finish, even the part where Christopher Nolan shows up at the end and says directly down the barrel “hey just don’t abuse peoples’ kindness, ok?”
What amazes me about our current era is just the sheer number of institutions, governmental and nongovernmental, that are led by the dumbest fucking idiots on the planet.

So like with Platner, if El-Sayed wins, I’ll be deeply disappointed with the Michigan Democratic electorate, and hope that there is an opportunity for the party to change candidates when the inevitable meltdown occurs.
I just want to know, for my own curiosity, what it would take for Kevin Hassett to wipe that dopey, shit-eating grin off his face. Like what would have to transpire to or around him for that to happen. I’m just so curious.
