Voting in your own best interests is easy. Anyone who tries to convince you both candidates are the same is working against your best interests. Anyone agitating for staying home or voting 3rd party is asking you to advance the cause of your adversary.

Mamdani's water sanitization plan seems great, but taxpayers who drink only bottled and filtered water, or who get their water out of state, could be left paying the tab - is it fair to ask them to pay so other people don't shit themselves to death?

This "GPODAWUND" goof was one of my benchmarks for new LLMs. You tell them you were at a stadium for a sporting event, and a 3-piece sign was deployed in the wrong order, and now says "GPO DAW UND", ask 'em to figure out what it was meant to say - and therefore what stadium you were in.

Only a person with your worst interests at heart will ever try to get you to believe that "voting in your best interests" is a bad idea. They will do this by arguing that the votes are equivalent. You can tell them from your allies, because your allies will insist voting is in your best interests.
