I am stunned that the constitutional question was so close. I thought it would be 6–3 or 7–2. It is profoundly disturbing that four justices would allow either the president or Congress to rewrite the plain text of the 14th Amendment. This is obviously a good outcome, but the margin is alarming.

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

I don't think it's exaggerating to say that the stark contrast between Delia Deetz in "Beetlejuice" and Kevin's mom in "Home Alone" was the first time it really dawned on me what acting was.

Did you ever think you'd see the day when masked gunmen jump out of moving vehicles and chase families down the street in your own neighborhood? FUCK ICE forever and ever.
I find this unbearably beautiful as an expression of the joy that comes from making art together as human beings. This is what the AI dickheads will never understand and never feel.
