The Ken Jennings shit is nothing new. Cis "allies", particularly public figures, love to say they support trans rights, but won't actually do anything helpful. And then when they're mildly criticized for doing a transphobia, they go on and on about how great an ally they are.

Last week, I forwarded the whole chain to another editor above her, summarizing the entire thing and asking her to advise. Can you guess what happened? Nothing. No response. Sent a follow-up this week. Nothing. Like it didn't happen.
