Took the substack plunge. Middle leadership is something that can be done in solitude, thankfully that wasn't the case for me! I just wanted to write a piece for future HoDs of all the things that helped my during my first year in post (you all get a shout out too you lovely lot)

In #MathsToday Three Year 5 pupils finding 'in-between' numbers, starting with 486 and 5361 and ending with 486.53. I was impressed!

#MathsToday Trying this out with some of my weaker groups for those who can't abstract the remainders for bus stop. I know someone somewhere will have given this a name but for now I'm calling it Medium Division 😂
