if you're one of those coders who haphazardly shoves AI code into your projects, I will not hear a single word from you about the supposed inherent dangers of syntactic sugar or side effects or operator overloads or goto ever again just say you don't like the syntax! or that you don't like coding

part of why I don't like AI is bc it's so often the antithesis of caring for the little things, the appreciation of the mundane, of seeing beauty where others haven't yet been able to, and seeking genuine fundamental understanding all in the name of "get product faster" I find it so disheartening

spent the whole day trying to write my own nvim config with nvim.pack, finally managed to make it work <3

Just read overreacted.io/a-social-fil... by @danabra.mov, and I finally understand what ATProto is. Very cool stuff, would definitely recommend reading. Unfortunately this is going to add significantly to my list of ongoing side projects and things to learn more about.

Learning Gleam is dangerous! One day you're just writing some code and all of a sudden you notice... It's all comments!!

The fact Discord of all places got Gleam's syntax highlighting right before @github.com is killing me, GitHub is still blocked on a very old grammar and it's been impossible to review any test code using `assert`. Discord's on the left, GitHub's on the right.
