This is a great thread. I'm an academic advisor now and finding that sometimes the question I should ask is if students have or need accommodations. They've been fine through high school but the stress of engineering classes brings out their needs. They can be engineers if we give them a chance.

Tuesday is the last day to apply for an advance ballot by mail in order to participate in the primary. Voters can apply at ksvotes.org.
I am an election worker and I say this constantly. Work at any election, see how hard it is to throw an election. The machines that check you in & the machines that count the ballots are not connected to the internet. He would have to go in and physically mess with every machine. It makes no sense.

The language for this amendment is vague and gives Topeka politicians too much power to decide the rules. That's how Kris Kobach & Ty Masterson want it. If it passes, they get to set the rules. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing. That's why we MUST VOTE NO on August 4th.
