Seeing a lot of infantilizing concern trolling regarding the mental wellness of a female politician that I never see for guys who are just openly pieces of shit, do you think her entire staff quit because she was ~having troubles~ or is it possible women can be pieces of shit too

I appreciate the people who can think, react, and speak rationally the 48 hours around election day. I am not one of those people. I am a ball of stress and anxiety. I am comfortable predicting how 9 people will vote on a case. I have no idea how 150 million people will vote and won't pretend to.

Hi! Woke up to lots of new followers. I'm not the Haley Stevens of Michigan. I'm the Hayley Stevens from Wiltshire, England. Until recently I wrote a science blog about spooky stuff, now I'm studying for my MSc in Forensic Psychology. I'm deeply autistic, sarcastic, and do not endorse Mike Rogers ✌️

the reason I think this might actually be a net benefit to El-Sayed is that his main worry was a lot of Black and Jewish voters who were skeptical of him staying home but these people are partisan Democrats, they aren’t voting Rogers Stevens actually endorsing him reads as a betrayal

We won’t learn from these incidents so long as people flip offender and victim. Stevens was openly bigoted toward the nominee, who responded she was no longer welcome in his campaign, and then she endorsed another bigot. The througline is Haley Stevens’ bigotry, not el-Sayed responding once.

I can see 20 years from now remembering this moment. And like, hey, remember when Haley Stevens had the endorsements of the entire Democratic Party establishment, lost the primary, and then two days before the general election endorsed the Republican after the Democratic nominee dissed her?

El-Sayed: At the end of the day, I actually don't think about Haley Stevens. Because you know what? I'm just less interested in the politics of it all than I am in the policy of it all…
