This is my Star Trek account.

I love it when people watch Star Trek for the first time and are like, "I didn't really believe that Kirk and Spock were actually like this. I thought people were projecting. But no. This is just what the show is." It's just what the show is. Kirk/Spock is as natural as breathing.

Seems this is going around!! Listen, I'm at SPX this weekend selling Cosmoknights books 1 & 2, if you wanna come say hi and get some great books!! my girlfriend is with me selling gay wizard comics!! we also have a minions zine we made together!!! table W16a

My heart hurts: "There was this TV show based on this comic book “Cosmoknights” that I was going to direct, and it was from me and Emily Andras, who made “Wynonna Earp.” It’s “Star Wars” with lesbians in space. Amy Poehler was producing it, and we pitched it all around town [...] everybody passed."

we don’t teach young people short-term history, so it was weird when i realized that gen z had no idea that so many gen x and millennials spent our high school years protesting george w bush and not just because of the wars, but because mosques were being targeted and sikh men were being attacked

There are already articles circulating trying to rewrite history and say America was great after 9/11 and united and thoughtful and just a reminder that that period was marked by intense and insanely racist hatred, paranoia, and a frothing desire for unhinged violence and oppression.

Ruby Bridges was 6-years-old when she stepped into the history books. Bravely accompanied by her mother, she was the first Black child to desegregate an all-white school in the South. It was not long ago… Today is her birthday. She is still with us. She is 72. Happy birthday, Ruby Bridges 💜
