Idk I feel like a lot of things happened today that smarter, more eloquent, and more directly-impacted people are already talking about and I'm just... not going to do that. My lack of comment isn't a lack of caring, but I don't feel like my perspective will add anything.
Taught 6 the difference today between "oh I am glad that happened" and "wow that is interesting to learn about" when I say something is really cool, because I am definitely not glad that horsehair parasites take over their hosts but holy shit it's so cool to learn about
Somebody was talking about respecting women and the troll in the comments said “they’re not gonna fuck you.” The dude fired back “that’s your price, not mine.”
So I guess my best advice is, follow real people who love wildlife & want to protect it. People whose joy shines through. Who share their stories about being out in nature. People who interact with other nature lovers, photographers & artists. They’re way more likely to be showing you the real thing

It's called class society. The constant threat of homelessness is needed for it to "function". You can't force people into bullshit jobs and harsh working conditions without an even more devastating "alternative".

I think people not in Minneapolis really do think sentiment has faded here but everyone I know has stayed angry. If every single person protesting JL had been arrested and jailed and there was another shitbag to protest the next day, another hundred of us would have come out.
