Inchworm update, they've grown and now they look like this! I counted between 3-5 remaining caterpillars. The second photo is a tiny chrysalis on the bottom of a flower tube. It's so wee! What will come out?! WHEN will it come out?!

We've had cut Joe Pye weedon our table for a few days and noticed last night many tiny inchworms waving and climbing around the flowers I'm guessing these are geometer moth larvae, and both the kid and I are curious about what they'll grow into, so I've put them in a mesh enclosure... for science!

Mama pseudoscorpion & her cute baby high in the mountains of Montana. Mama is half the size of a grain of rice. These harmless micro arachnids have no stinger, but can deliver venom to prey via their pincers. Also, they can walk backward. Also, you probably have them in your house. #BugSky 🐙🌿

I was getting a coffee at the kitchen when this Leptodeira ashmeadii (Venezuelan cat-eyed snake) was pointed out to me. It quickly retreated back under the flowerpots it was sheltering in.
