You cannot have “AI” without having “machine that almost solely exists to create nonconsensual sexually explicit images of mainly women and children.” The former exists in tandem with the latter. That’s how this industry has worked so far, and it has only gotten worse with zero accountability

My sense is that the “male loneliness crisis” is not really about addressing men’s emotional needs but rather the relatively newfound absence of having someone to perform domestic labor for you quietly in the background now that there is a longer gap between your mother and your wife doing it

AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone - tech is now more expensive - you cannot trust most media of reality anymore - programs barely function - energy prices - literal psychosis - your voice can be literally stolen for evil - more spyware but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.

If AI gets to read all our ebooks the publishing solution is going to be to take all art offline. No more ebooks. No more uploaded art on websites. No more streaming music. If it's all physical, it can't feed AI... and it becomes hard for people to find. Which makes AI stuff easier to sell.
