He's losing words. Anyone with a parent or loved one suffering from dementia will recognize this pattern. Wen he says "moving cameras," it's because he can't recall the word "videos" and so he's stating the component parts as best he can. E.g., a "camera" is involved and the images are "moving"

The thing that haunts you after being there is that it's their nightly reality. Lying in a hotel room listening to air defense frantically tearing up the night sky or waiting it out in a shelter and knowing that unlike them, for you this is 4 nights of horror and then you're back on a train home.
