This is rough but I think it talks about a lot of what is missing from the Cunningham/WNBA discourse. Namely, that trans people are not hypothetical thought experiments. They are real people who are being genocided by our government & any coverage that doesn't center that reality misses the mark.

A stop-motion animation was quoted by someone I follow today, and I could not hide the post fast enough, because the video started autoplaying. No disrespect for the sheer artistry and effort involved in stop-motion! I am a great fan of your right to do art your way! I am also a fan of not puking.

I keep bringing this up, because transphobia is never *just* transphobia - the transphobe will, when push comes to shove, always reveal themselves to be bigoted in so many other ways, prominently misogyny and homophobia (but also racism and ableism), and also vice versa bsky.app/profile/khan...

Do try to remember that the EHRC guidance only affects service providers and not employment, so if you work somewhere where there are toilets or changing rooms for employees that aren’t open to the public then your employers are wrong if they try to stop you from using facilities for your gender

A lot of 80s and 90s "structure" went like this: 1) The GM writes a story of how things are supposed to go. 2) Players are told they can do anything they want. Actually supposed to read the GM's mind to follow the story. 3) Play goes slowly because "read my mind" is a shitty communication strategy.
