MASONRY HEATER FINALLY BEGINS!!! Most of this project is specc'd for clay/sand mortar, which has a long working period and can be rewetted in the event of fuckups, but the base layer has to be cement mortar so it sticks the slab. Getting everything level/straight/plumb/evenly spaced was harrowing.

When I tell you my neighbors are fucking stupid, I mean like, "spraying aerosols while simultaneously using an electric fly swatter to kill wasps in the attic of a thatched roof building" stupid.
