I love the simplicity of this study: 1) Find homes with gas stoves and asthmatic children 2) Replace the gas stoves with induction stoves. 3) Come back in three months. Results? "Missed days of work or school because of asthma dropped by about 80%."

I took transit last night to a play at the Gladstone. The line 2 train going to Bayview was packed with Bluesfest attendees. Great to have a free pass with the festival ticket.
This whole thing with trains sent into wildfire areas, and unhoused people stuck outside in dangerous conditions, and the government rolling back our climate action... it's making me so mad. We don't have to do this! We could choose to take care of everyone!

I genuinely hate the push to make smoking a thing again. I have watched so many drawn out, ugly, painful deaths from smoking. It makes everything disgusting. It enslaves us to the worst kinds of corporations. There’s ZERO positive here.

We are experiencing the world's worst air quality, and we're getting absolutely no response from leadership other than announcements about building more pipelines. Do not normalize this.
So many mixed feelings whenever the people I look up to join one of the evil tech companies and claim to be fighting for good. I wish they'd just join and not say such things. I understand we all need money in this capitalistic world but why claim to be doing good!?
