The Celtics appear to have gotten less for Jaylen Brown than the Clippers got for Kawhi Leonard. It's hard to accentuate how crazy that is. We'll see what comes next, but that is a paltry return for a player of Brown's talent, age, health and contractual status.

Governor Healey could be using state funds to expand the childcare voucher program or mental healthcare programs or literally hundreds of other things that would actually help the people of Massachusetts. Instead, she does this nonsense.

The jury delivering a verdict of guilty on the absurd charge of assault and battery leveled against @etelhaxhiaj.bsky.social for her bravery in facing down ICE goons trying to rip a family apart should be shamed for the rest of their lives for their complicity in this tyrannical bullshit.

This is an absolutely ludicrous outcome. The burden of proof was absolutely not met. And it's exactly the kind of dangerous signal of impunity that they were hoping to send.

Periodic reminder that your weather app, especially far out from a storm, is pretty much garbage. Apps are just pulling in data from forecast models that haven't been analyzed or interpreted. For now, you can get a wonderful forecast for free from NWS.

Reminder that these kind of door-to-door “general warrants” are both explicitly illegal and also a major trigger for the American Revolution.
