I hope the job market is better in ~2 years when I get my master's because I feel like I'm doing a lot of work right now on something that's realistically limiting my job prospects/burning bridges long term. my anxiety is telling me that I am probably blacklisted from working for this city

It simply convinces outsiders that the institution or group does not want to be fixed. You gotta kill your own criminals, not defend them.
if you're colleagues are drafting "Kill everyone" bills with the explicit intent of having them become law then yes they deserve harsh treatment not some "erm thats technically a way to read the Constitution" or "erm I defend their freedom to do that"

It is meant to serve as the bedrock for American society itself, a beacon of rights and liberties whose light knows no distance and spares no one.
The current state of American academia is that being trans and giving bad students bad grades is excuse enough for being fired but under no circumstances should you criticize legal "scholars" who spend all their time writing about why black people don't actually deserve rights

My god. The Heritage Foundation, which mercilessly attacked transgender kids in order to protect the "integrity of women's sports," is now attacking the legal basis for women's sports. The transgender student decision is barely 2 weeks old.
Every drop of blood damns us as a nation and stains us as a people. History will look back on this era and judge our cowardice, every day of complacency will haunt us.
