Happy labor day (USA). What's one of the oddest paid job you've had? Mine was probably as a reader for a medical professor at Rutgers, whose eyes were failing. I read him many academic texts, as well as Samuel Butler's "The Way of All Flesh."

It's been pointed out that Trump fundamentally does not believe in consensual, mutually beneficial exchange. He just believes in power and domination. In his mind all mutually beneficial exchanges involve someone being cheated. (This is core fascist stuff.)

The man is wildly unpopular. He and his party are facing intense backlash. It's only a matter of time before the Democrats hold a trifecta again. When that happens, we can exact revenge, and we should do so mercilessly. But we need to telegraph that *now* so that they stop capitulating to his whims.
