I genuinely don't know what to do about this. In our diseased information environment, one MAGA-adjacent "influencer" can do more to shape public opinion than mountains of studies or facts. Where are the pro-clean-energy influencers to counter this shit?

I don’t understand how people can run for office knowing they have insane baggage and/or crimes. Like I spent the entire campaign expecting AIPAC to somehow dig up my middle school livejournal fanfic account. I prepared my family for it. I’m still amazed it didn’t happen.

Ian Coldwater 🧊🚫@lookitup.baby · 2mo agoSomeone actually did a study a while back that showed the most effective way to get women out of TERF groups wasn’t people trying to change their minds, it was them getting literally any benign hobby, like learning other languages or taking up needlework

It was transformative, a release from the gender-norm social pressures that so many girls struggle with. Your experience was deeper, more necessary, but I love that it happened at camp.
UPDATE: WH says that the site pulls "data directly from DHS" and accidentally included "a handful of non-immigration HSI arrests." WIRED reviewed the updated data and found there are now 270,214 fewer arrests listed.
