“Triple Rock regular…” —Creem Magazine, 2023

The “thing to do” in the 80s/90s as a suburban kid was to go to Downtown or Uptown. It’s in large part why I still go to events in those places. So now you’re discouraging young folks from downtown so they…stop going downtown to spend money as they age? Great strategy.

it is SO DUMB that a bunch of people getting together for a fun 30 minutes on scooters ended up with the company throttling their scooters and restricting them from downtown.

the rest of the country should know, Minneapolis has a whole story, beginning middle and end, about how right wingnuts and petty centrist corporate libs banded together to stop a coalition of working people united to defund the police and invest that largesse in the people.

Michele Tafoya sounds like a Facebook comment that some random Floridian posted under an innocuous local news story about a community band competition in a Minneapolis park.

I better start seeing the worst quotes from Tafoya’s dumb podcasts and previous work or I’m gonna accuse the DFL and media of malpractice. She‘s Emmer, really, but a true believer.

I wish we could bring back city directories. Even the front part that doesn’t have anyone’s address, but has a complete list of the composition of every layer of government, committees, all the groups you can join and who’s running them and when they meet. All in just 15 pages of text.

FUCK ICE is a winning message. And I don’t think many in the media realized how broad support for that message really is. Like, who did you think the Lutheran ladies holding clandestine no-phones ICE resistance and mutual aid meetings in church basements were gonna vote for???

The MN GOP is going to get absolutely hammered in November. Let's work to make sure we get unified Democratic contol of the state. Maybe we can even knock out Emmer this year.
