The west Toronto rail path is open. It’s really open! Just the other day. Closed since 2022, Metrolinx said it would be a year. Ford Math. Anyway the artwork that outlined (space w out paint) the trees is now a memorial to those trees.

Metrolinx closed the West Toronto Railpath in November 2022 for “one year” and it just reopened yesterday. This place serves as both a large linear park and an important active transportation route to bypass busy streets and I’m so excited to finally having it back.

Your tech breaks. Buying new seems cheaper than repairing. We’re making the Right to Repair the new standard in Europe.

This is terrible. The authors admit that their intervention failed to provide the correct Clean Air Delivery Rate. I mean, if you know the intervention you’re testing is inadequate, why test at all?? And why demand they REMOVE existing HEPA fitration units (which might have had the right CADR)?

Not much to say here. The same vibes-based medicine that has been driving anti-PPE misinformation since long before COVID hit. Imagine a drug manufacturer testing its competitor's product at a subclinical dose (but "we feel like that's good enough") and then claiming it doesn't work. Unserious.

Now, these bastards on the right act like the whole thing was just a minor inconvenience blown out of proportion.

Im SO happy I took so many screenshots during COVID. There are SO MANY articles that do not even EXIST anymore. People are trying so hard to rewrite history from the last 6 years.

The food supply chain is an incredibly complex Jenga tower. One piece gets out of line and the whole thing can fall apart. It relies on the good will and professionalism of the companies involved. When one company decided to save themselves money, it cost us millions & could have made people sick
