Don't let Jeff tell you this is just about New Orleans and Baton Rouge voters. He was rejected all over the state. Amendments 1, 2, and 4 only won in 14 of 64 parishes. Amendment 3 only won in 11 parishes.

BREAKING: Louisianans just rejected a ballot measure that would have paved the way for more children to be prosecuted as adults. It lost by roughly 30%. Here’s how a supporter had justified it: “Some of these kids are already lost when they’re two years old.” Context: boltsmag.org/louisiana-am...

“Some of These Kids Are Already Lost When They’re Two Years Old” - Bolts

Could the leftists who wrongly think Harris lost because she accepted an endorsement from Liz Cheney in exchange for nothing, and the centrists who wrongly think Harris lost because she didn’t do anything to reach out to independents and moderate Republicans, go somewhere and hash it out?

This is so profoundly strange from @slotkin.senate.gov. The Harris campaign ran one of the most aggressive outreach efforts to moderates, independents, and soft Republicans in recent memory!

Trump on NATO: "If the United States was in trouble and we called them. We said, 'We got a problem, France.' Do you think they're gonna come and protect us? Hmm. They're supposed to. I'm not so sure." (Literally the only time NATO Article 5 was invoked was after 9/11 on behalf of the US.)

USAID supports desperate people abroad, US diplomatic and soft power abroad, and universities and farms at home. Including, and specifically, in Louisiana. If the moral argument means nothing to them, and the geopolitical is lost on them, perhaps the economic will make an impression.
