Leftist, lacking patience for incurious, non-empathetic, narrow-viewed arguers. If you have to pick on any oppressed or marginalized group, you are not welcome.

Really weird and sus how this narrative of "Jews are abandoning the Democratic party" is taking hold when (1) there's absolutely no evidence of this and (2) literally the only voting bloc more loyal to Democrats (and more progressive overall) than US Jews is Black women (seriously, look it up).

Iran is demanding a fee of 7% on all commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, with Chinese and Russian vessels exempt from the fee, while Oman is discussing smaller fees of around 3% and the US wants no fees at all.-Reuters

Abdul El-Sayed was outspent 9-to-1 by AIPAC and corporate Super PACs in the most expensive Senate Democratic primary of all time. Last night, he proved that organized people can beat organized money.

El-Sayed: "We've been talking about an illegal apartheid regime for a very very long time, and that supersedes Netanyahu itself. So I just think we need to treat Israel the way we would treat any other country that behaved the way Israel is behaving."

Talarico’s argument is simple: Stop treating marijuana like a crime. Legalize it. Regulate it. Tax it. Stop wasting police resources on low-level marijuana offenses. Clear the records of people whose lives have been derailed by nonviolent marijuana convictions.

Israel said the war was about the hostages. All 251 were returned by January 26, 2026. Hamas hasn’t fired a rocket into Israeli territory since April 2025. Sixteen months. Israeli strikes on Gaza haven’t stopped for a single day. So what is their excuse now?

Every single Republican candidate for governor of Minnesota (including Mike Lindell!) makes clear that if Trump tried another Operation Metro Surge in the Twin Cities, they would support his efforts to brutalize residents

From the picket line to the halls of the U.S. Senate, we know that Abdul El-Sayed has our back. We're going to fight like hell to make sure in November we're celebrating another victory on election night.

A gracious concession: “I want to congratulate Abdul El-Sayed on winning the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate. He is a doctor, a community health official, a Rhodes Scholar, and a dedicated Michigander. I am proud to offer my support as he takes on Mike Rogers in the general election…

As of last night, there are now *7* pastors, former pastors and seminarians who've become Democratic nominees running for Congress. Some have already won safe Dem seats, and several are in hotly contested races. In multiple cases, the GOP has attacked their faith. religionnews.com/2026/08/04/p...

'They're not real pastors': As clergy run as Democrats, Republicans question their faith

(RNS) — 'It's a sign that they are really scared they're gonna lose this seat,' the Rev. Sarah Trone Garriott, a Lutheran pastor running for Congress in Iowa, said. She is part of a wave of religious ...

The decisive failure of GOP referenda in Kansas Amendment 1 and Missouri Amendment 4 yesterday is yet another reminder of something I've been saying for a while: Voters, even Republican voters, now regularly despise and repudiate GOP attempts to use them to destroy democracy.

Gets more and more bizarre. Certainly the lack of diligence and seriousness of the investigation just increases the doubts and suspicions, even if there were no foul play. The racism and incompetence worsened what was already a tragedy.

Uncertainty around the investigation into the death of the 18-year-old, whose body was found in Mississippi after a 4 July boat trip with friends, has led some to question whether justice will be meted out equally
