the problem i always had with the whole glup shitto bit is that eventually they have to hit the jackpot and make a guy that even those of us who believe we're above it wants to see everywhere. biddy blas is the fucking jackpot
For many different reasons Fortune's Weave has been, quite the time, so far. Nearly finished Dietrich's path Part One and this came to me. #FEFW
It's not that this country has never had state sanctioned murder for mass comsumption, it's just that at some point it became taboo to say that you wanted to actually see a lynching, but our current government is trying to get rid of that taboo and take America back to its roots.
Spending so much time and effort on this video but I’m excited to keep getting back to it. Most fulfilling work I’ve done since graduating.
I wonder if people who think they want to see this will watch it and then realize they didn’t actually want to see it.

Over and over some people demonstrate that racism IS a material interest in their decision making and that the racism supercedes everything else. But some refuse to take these folks at their word.
There’s something to be said for how most of the political spectrum can unite around hounding some lesbians over niche drama in their spaces but huge segments of society are silent about pervasive campus rape impacting a huge population of primarily youngwomen

I may have an inverted relationship to movies/shows and games that a lot of people do, and it’s just bc I don’t watch as much stuff as I play games lol. Games are my field to get most critical, movies or shows I’m having a special and rarer moment of fun.
I’ll add to this that a big part of why Biden’s approach failed is because he tapped Title IX administrators to lead the effort, instead of survivors and their advocates. He picked the betrayers instead of the betrayed.

the funny thing is even if you decide to be generous and give obama's position here credence, the core problem remains that a ton of the most visible democrats - himself included! - will not take actually strong moral stances, even/especially against deeply unpopular policies, people, corps, etc

I’m genuinely shocked at the people on here who think long covid isn’t real. Seriously? Your actuaries, departments of health even the freaking department of defense know it’s real. Apparently people used to think MS wasn’t real. There’s a long history of telling sick people they’re crazy.
The most blackpilling part of the last 10 years is that every liberal party in the industrialized ‘western’ world has embraced austerity, immigration restrictionism, and anti trans bigotry and it has objectively been a complete failure and their only idea is to just keep doubling down.

Finished Three Hopes just before Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave came out, and was struck by the desire to draw Claude in one of his most affecting moments from the game.
under the current electoral system it’s not possible to create a government that would prevent the united states from killing people all over the world at will. you can make the harm reduction argument but it doesn’t engage noah’s central point here
