(she/they) Fairly unremarkable. Mostly stuff and nonsense. Board games. Video games. Baked goods. Dogs.

The trend of putting in “comfy,” ✨unique✨ seating at airport gates must be stopped. You’ve taken up the space of three normal seats with your stupid egg shaped executive chair, and a gate that used to comfortably fit 2/3 of an airplane’s passengers now only fits 1/3.

San Francisco is gorgeous, I can also feel myself taking psychic damage every 10 minutes just for being here. The AI and tech ads are unavoidable and soulless, an overly sanitized blight of graphic design against architectural beauty at every turn, punctuated by the eerie ululations of Waymos.

Anybody know what rituals or sacrifices I need to perform to appease Blucifer so he turns his gaze from me and torments someone else for once? God I hate flying into this fucking airport.

It is not a big deal to anyone who isn’t me but I just ran the first sub 10 minute mile of my life. As someone who regularly Suffered™️ when that was a twice a year requirement in gym class growing up, I can’t believe it.

I recognize and honor that everyone is of different fitness and ability levels but I do have to wonder about the gym bros that fight for the close parking spaces to said gym in a very empty lot midafternoon on a Thursday. Is walking 100 more feet going to kill you?

i think daily life would be much more interesting if every morning you got to choose from one of three randomly selected upgrades (e.g. sliced bananas on cereal, +0.1% to walk speed, homing missiles)

Been holding my ballot up til the last minute and finally filled it out and man it just feels: bad. None of these choices were things that gave me hope, it was just all “which is less bad?”

You used to be able to google the time of the sunset, and Google would give you the exact time right on top every single time. Thankfully, with artificial intelligence, you can now ask Google what time the sun will set and it will conveniently tell you "I don't know."

the feeling where you're in such a bad mood that you're looking forward to the gym to work it out but also worried that you're going to go too hard because you're so pissy and then injure yourself.

asking me for a meeting 15 minutes after I arrive to the office is illegal, actually, especially when I have an hour worth of regular morning routine required items I must do daily first thing in the morning.

Wound up moving last night’s run to this morning and god do I hate peeling myself out of bed to go put in the miles but also there’s about 3-5 seconds after I’m done where I feel like I could fight god. Jury’s still out on whether it makes up for the lost warm cozy time.

fuck sam altman forever for taking away the last places where we could engage in good faith: the creative arts, which should be a testament to human ingenuity. i am so mad that everything i read or listen to or admire is now tainted with doubt. do you understand? he is a thief of joy and i HATE HIM

Lock the fuck in, Gumshoes. Carmen Sandiego stole a priceless wax pressing of "One of These Nights" by the Eagles. You've got to stop her before she travels back in time to 149 BC Carthage and trades it to Scipio Africanus the Younger for a kilo of the good shit. *Rockapella bops on stage*

Lynne Thigpen as "The Chief" from Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego

When I was a kid mom used to bribe me with a cinnamon roll afterwards if I would go out with her for a run on Ashland in the mornings. Now I’m an adult and have just come in from a run and a swim and wheremst the fuck is someone with my cinnamon roll? 🥺
