🏳️‍⚧️ she/her, trans rights maximalist I love you, get up, keep going.

me: i remember when i was a kid, before they invented smartphones... my elf gf: When I was a child, Selarenréoþ had yet to sing the forests into being. me: oh my god 🙄 i get it. you're sooo much older than me. you still good with pizza tonight by the way? her: I am ever ready for pizza, sapling.

"decisions about trans care for minors should be made by their parents" is an anti-trans policy position, inhumane to the point of absurdity, which only sounds pro-trans to people who aren't paying attention. what those words mean is "the children of bigots should be left to suffer with no recourse"

"decisions about whether or when minors access transgender medical care should be made by parents, not politicians" actually they should be made by the minors in question, who are human beings. if you don't need parental consent to experience one kind of puberty why should you need it for the other

I believe that we should all have the right to change sex, freedom from discrimination for changing sex, and access to the means of changing sex socially, bodily, and legally, without being subject to pathologizing regulatory regimes enforcing patriarchal law and mandatory heterosexuality.

I will just believe anything's secret origin is transmisogyny at this point. "Stonehenge was built for tracking druidic hrt injections but Roman terfs refused to write that down" I believe it! "Atlantis was real, and sank because it got weird about trans women" how could that NOT be true?

being a trans woman on a day to day basis really is wild,, it's like vacillating between "it's so over, i'll be dead by 2030" and "i'm literally the hottest woman alive, i already killed god, i created the big bang, i can literally fuck spacetime so hard that the gravity waves will hit andromeda"

Many people will shout, "No one is seriously suggesting that young people be put on hormones!" and to be perfectly, 100% clear, trans people are seriously suggesting that. Trans people of all ages would prefer if young trans people had access to HRT instead of the compromise of puberty blockers.

Why's sleeping gotta be a whole ordeal? We've evolved to do it for a billion years and we got special rooms and enthusiast equipment for it and it's still this whole fuckin process

It's Pride Month, so once again here's Sappho's Reply, one of the most powerful queer poems ever. Written by Rita Mae Brown at the height of the post-Stonewall struggles, it's the origin of "an army of lovers shall not fail/cannot lose." Y'all, we are going to win.

"My voice rings down through thousands of years
To coil around your body and give you strength,
You who have wept in direct sunlight,
Who have hungered in invisible chains,
Tremble to the cadence of my legacy:
An army of lovers shall not fail."

Now is the time to make your thing. Stop motion with LEGO, webcomic, walking sim game, weird Halloween costume, backyard water feature, container garden. This is your sign. Make your thing. Stop waiting. Do it.

Thread with a couple short scenes from a lesbian vampire story that I have kickin' around in the back of my head! This may be all that ever comes of it, but I still like em :] 1/4
